Police Authority Looking For Communities Views
13th January 2012
Lincolnshire Police Authority is holding its next formal meeting at Police Headquarters, Deepdale Lane, Nettleham Nr Lincoln on Friday 27th January 2012 starting at 10.30am in Conference Room C.
At each ordinary meeting of the Authority, members of the public may ask questions on any police authority business. Questions must be submitted in advance.

101 - The NEW police non-emergency number

101 is the number to call when you want to contact your local police - when it’s less urgent than a 999 call. 101 is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

AUTHORITY NAMES BIDDERS FOR OUTSOURCING CONTRACT

Lincolnshire Police Authority today announced that two organisations have
been selected – from a shortlist of five chosen from the original 160 bidders –
to compete for a multi million pound contract for the provision of a range of
support and policing services over the next ten to 15 years.The contract, worth around £200 million over ten years, involves the widest range of services ever offered in a single contract by any UK Police Authority.

The unaudited statement of accounts presents the financial position of the Police Authority for the year ending 31 March 2011 and were authorised for issue by Julie Flint, Treasurer , as responsible financial officer on the 30th June 2011. These statements are subject to audit and will be considered for final approval by the Authority's Audit, Risk and Governance Committee at the end of September.
