WHO WE ARE

There are seventeen members of your police authority:

9 councillors that are appointed by the Lincolnshire County Council;
3 magistrates that are appointed by the Magistrates' Courts' Committee in Lincolnshire;
5 independent members from the local community who are appointed by the councillors and magistrates of the Authority, following public advertisement and a selection procedure involving a local selection panel and the Home Secretary.
The Police Authority is supported by a small team of support staff.
