John Cooke OBE
John, who lives in the South of the County, retired as a wing commander from the Royal Air Force in 2005; he has been a member of the Authority since 2003 and is currently the Vice-Chairman of the Authority and is a member of the Authority’s Senior Appointments Panel.
He represents the Police Authority on the Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership where he is the Chairman of its Strategic Board; he is also sits on the County’s Safer Communities Board.
Regionally, he represents Lincolnshire Police Authority on the Regional Collaboration Board and the Region’s Joint Police Authority. At a national level he is the Association of Police Authorities lead member for learning and development and represents the Association on various national boards and oversight groups.
